Regatta Calendar

SAILING TAKES PLACE UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THE PORT OF FOWEY RACE ORGANISING COMMITTEE.

We welcome anyone who would like to take part and the race can accommodate the following classes; Cruisers, Troys & Handicapped Dinghies. The actual racing route will be decided on the day subject to weather conditions.

 

Entries can be made in one of two ways: either directly to The Royal Fowey Yacht Club before the start of the race, or at The Winklepicker Store, Polruan Quay by noon on Friday 28th August.

 

PLEASE NOTE - Event times and terms and conditions may change, so please listen out for announcements on the day.

Meetings to plan the coming year's events.

NOV / DEC

11th Nov  - Craft coffee morning, children’s crafts in the  Polruan Village Hall.

5th Dec  – Christmas Tree erected on Quayside

Sat 9th December – Children's Christmas party 0-7yrs in the Village Hall.

SAT AUG 26TH

11.30am - Crabbing on the Quay.

SUN AUG 27TH

9.30am -  Family Service at St. Saviour's Church.

   2.30pm - Children's sports at the school playing field.

6.00pm - Songs of Praise on Old Coal Wharf (if wet, in St. Saviour's).

MON AUG 28TH

10.30am - Regatta Day.

To include treasure hunt, beach volleyball, sand castle / sculpture making, hands-on drumming, the famous tennis ball roll, carnival queen coronation, disco, the internationally acclaimed Mike Hancock Street Shows, Nite Flight Disco & much, much more.
